Excellent review of The Wall in all of its parts. I love that you brought in the different perspectives of the various people involved in the project, rather than villianizing anyone. I learned a lot, both about the actual making of this creative masterpiece, and about the various pitfalls of having so many creative people try to work together to make such an ambitious project successful.

If you can't tell the difference unless you directly compare 2 versions of the same album, then you can't tell the difference. Outside of *maybe* the people that worked on the record itself, there is no one on earth that could hear one version or the other in isolation and go "hey, Paul's bass is 1.5 dB louder!" Listen to music, not your equipment.

Paul McCartney is alive. End of story. It has been proven conclusively by analyzing audio files of his voice before and after he supposedly died.. There is no way on Earth a "fake Paul" could duplicate his voice that completely.

Not related specifically to this album, but concerning album covers I'd like to see them add a black border with white lettering of the artist's name and album's name on the left at the top. I've seen many album covers where the artist and album name are very hard to read due to the very artistic script used on the album cover.

If anyone is looking for this, I found him as Leon Guallart; not Diaz. It appears most of the songs from this album are vinyl only, so no spotify or apple music unfortunately. Still, worth a listen if you can.

Just received my BSBS ‘Greenie’ Artisan Sterling after missing the rhino release. Took a chance on eBay and it paid off in spades. The original Devo presses, not so good. Too bad as the music is killer. You might enjoy a Richard Buckner album from the 90’s. Sparse and beautiful. Another pick for you with Crowded House about to tour, the earlier iteration of Split Enz. Fantastic new wave pop. I just get nervous with these new Cure reissues as the vinyl seems to be only pressed at GZ media. Shameful that this company gets their hands on these iconic records. Especially if they do the mastering in house. If someone else does it, then they can press a decent product. The US ‘The Smile’ was pressed at GZ and it was awful. On the other hand, RSD The English Beat was pressed there with mastering done elsewhere and it rocks. Stay away from in-house GZ Media Memphis Records.

This song is trying a bit too hard to be a hit. He's trying to capture the magic of very early Billy Joel and it shows but in an insincere way. The melody line is really trying to sound like a hit. The melody line is a bit uninspiring. He is a talented artist. His singing, piano playing and overall musicianship. I think he can just cover good songs and they will be good. No need to write songs.

Somebody on UA-cam did video showing the young Paul McCartney and the one now. The younger Paul was rockin the guitar and never once did he look down at the strings of guitar, he played flawessly. With the split screen the Paul McCartney that we know know was constantly looking down at the guitar and strings while he played. Another intesting thing was the head bob of both McCartney's. If you look at the orginal Paul when sang his head moved side to side. when watching the later Paul when he sings his head is bobing forward and back not side to side like the original Paul.
